Channel Changes and launches on Freeview
 

On 21 September 2022 some broadcasters are making important changes to their channels and three new channels are launching on Freeview. 
 

You will need to retune to update your TV and keep your channels and TV Guide up to date.

There are significant changes to Freeview channels tomorrow and Thursday

 

Since the decision by Ofcom to make more airwaves available for mobile data, the Ofcom licenses for some channels broadcasting on Freeview has expired. This means that affected channels are making changes to the way they are broadcast moving forward. Please see below for a list of the changes and viewer advice.

You will need to retune your TV on both the 29th & 30th June 2022 to update your channels and to keep your TV Guide up to date. One major change is that BBC News HD on Channel 107 will close but the SD version on 231 will remain. Some other channels will also loose their HD versions and some will close completely. April 25th 2022
 

Talk TV has launched on Freeview, Sky, Freesat, Virgin, youtube and Apps.

The channel is part of the News International group and features a simulcast of Talk Radio during the day with specials in the evening.

January 26th 2022

Some Freeview Channels have been rearranged to allow for BBC 3 to launch on February 1st.

Viewers with many Freeview TVs or Boxes may need to return to ensure that BBC 3 is included and other channels need to be in the right place.

This basically means that a whole raft of channels have now moved around with services such as ITV4, Yesterday, ITV+1 and GREAT! Movies all moving. In fact, all channels between numbers 23 and 82 have moved up one number except Dave Ja Vu which has moved up 2 channels from numbers 23 to 25. These changes took place at midday today,
