This transmitter is unusual as it does not have a tall mast as the site itself is on a hill not far from
Stratford Upon Avon. It is a main station transmitting Digital TV and radio plus some VHF radio services.
The view from the site is delightful.

Litchfield
Capital FM (South East Staffordshire): 101.6
Digital Radio: Birmingham: 11C - Derbyshire: 10B
Once upon a time this transmitter was the main Midlands station for ITV analogue Band III from 1956. When UHF TV was launched all services were transferred to the nearby Sutton Coldfield Site. However, when Channel 5 launched in 1997 it was first transmitted from Litchfield until it too moved to Sutton. Although it is firmly located in the West Midlands it still transmits the Derbyshire DAB service as it clearly covers much of that County.

Burton Self Help
This self help transmitter is likely to be to cover a very small area of the town that is shielded from Sutton Coldfield by this high factory building. I have no details of transmission details or if it is still operating.
